‘My wife and I now have a chatbot for Facebook Messenger’

My computer wouldn’t work, but it had a keyboard, which was a lot better than my home computer and a big file holder, even if the Link phone worked only once. But getting onto the internet with a phone is so much quicker than using a laptop. I had to throw out all my DOS games and DOS Paint – it was the 1980s, baby! Everything was pre-internet. It was fun and my grandma said, “Well, you’re really getting your fingers dirty.”

To which I said, “Sure. Sure. It’s not the way we do things now. I guess.”

Anyway, my wife and I now have a chatbot for Facebook Messenger that can help me both log on to my home PC, and check news and other stuff we can’t read on our phones and tablets. But yes, I am working remotely from my Facebook Portal (I sold my original Portal at the Goodwill, because my wife wanted us to have Christmas day to go to the pub, rather than have some My Little Pony. I’m very impatient).”
