Almost 31,000 chairs from Kohl’s have been recalled due to a fall hazard. According to Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Brooklyn, California-based retailer announced the recall of the Chairs that slide down the center step since Aug. 4, 2016. Kohl’s was notified by two customers who were injured while using the chairs. The chair’s folding arms may become disconnected and not return to place, posing a fall hazard. Kohl’s was also notified by a product recall agency of 111 similar injuries from faulty chairs. Kohl’s has not received any reports of injuries related to the chairs. Anyone who has purchased the chair will be able to exchange or return them for a new model. Those who have already purchased the chairs can call Kohl’s at 844-415-6271 or use this link to get a full refund. Those who have not purchased the chairs but have purchased the products used by accident customers can return the damaged product and receive a full refund.
